Our Family & How We Travel

We’re a family of four who homeschool and live in Hawaii. My husband’s family is here, and my family lives on the U.S. West Coast, so travel — both flying and staycations — has always been part of our life.

Our kids are 12 and 14 and have been flying since they were babies. We travel not just to visit grandparents, but often with them, whether that’s local trips in Hawaii or time together on the mainland. Travel is how we stay connected across generations.

Traveling Together, Across Generations

We enjoy planning trips that work for kids, parents, and grandparents alike. That means thinking about comfort, pacing, accessibility, and choosing places where everyone can enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

I live with rheumatoid arthritis, so physical limitations are part of our planning from the start. We focus on travel that feels flexible, realistic, and enjoyable for real people at different stages of life — not checking off every sight.

I’m also a travel agent specializing in Hawaii, Alaska, and the U.S. West Coast, happy to help you plan and book trips, though I’m not a full-service or 24/7 agent — I’m just here sharing tips and experiences from our family adventures.
